raumdeuter:2009 you mean Mourinho won with Porto and moved on to Chelsea that had never won the champions league. Before Mourinho, Porto last won the champions league in the 80s, almost 20 years before. They were never, even till date, rated as an A club, Barca was and is till date, pre-Pep and post-Pep. Before Pep, Barca won the champions league just two years before and has been in finals, semi finals and quarter finals consistently. I'll take a Pep over Mourinho any day any time, not because he is better but for the style. |

raumdeuter:Chelsea's buy were direct replacement for FIRSTTEAM players that were sold. And Chelsea had a positive net transfer(the only of top 6 teams). |

eph12:2009 I meant. Chelsea has never won the CL before and Mourinho didnt win the CL for them either. Porto had won the CL before and Mourinho won it for them, Barca won the CL before and Pep won it for them I will take Pep over Mourinho lmost all clubs will take Pep over Mourinho because he is better and because he delivers with style This is a coach who has set the longest winning streak at every league he coached. There is a difference between a win that looks like luck and there is a difference between a dominant win. DiMatteo also won the CL, he doesnt have a job, Benitez won a CL he is at Newcastle, Mourinho won 2 and he had to beg Man Utd for a job Pep won the CL and every club will want to have him, Bayern management saw Pep's team and they decided they wanted a team like that, City saw peps team and started a 5yr plan to create a team like Peps, All young coaches want to be like Pep. How many teams will see Mourinhos team and say I want my big team which I spent huge money on to park the bus like that? Every club Pep has coached in the past will sack their current coach and take him back. Madrid nor Chelsea will never take Mourinho back and I am certain once Mourinho leave Man Utd they will ever want him back. Wenger once said the moment Pep becomes available in the job market, EvERY coach's job become a doubt. That is what is called DOMINANCE |

imarrpopson:And Citys buys were not replacement for players sold? Zabaleta Nasri Sagna Kolarov, Clichy, Nolito Dzeko Bony Cabalero Hart sold, You think they dont need direct replacement What does positive net spend mean. The same thing Wenger used to complain about and Chelsea fans especially laughed at him is what Chelsea fans are saying now. I didnt know then that Chelsea fans were envying and hoping to become Arsenal with positive net spend |

airmark:Barkley ke...I am not even sure what to make of him yet....last time ibime was suggesting they play him on the wings .....and truth is, I really dunno what to expect from him. I am looking at ozil...his experience and talent and I think he is a better fit in terms of creativity through the midfield. He can possibly do better than fab if played with kante and Drinkwater sitting behind him. Dunno....I maybe wrong burr we should be grabbing players like ozil n Sanchez for cheap especially when they are readily available. |

eph12:Which one was Chelsea? Underdog or top dog? Most big clubs are top dogs and they want to win and be dominant. If Mourinho is an underdog specialist then he should be finding jobs to West brom Hull and Sunderland and become a underdog specialist like Moyes, Allardyce and hughes WHich Bayern? After sacking Ancelotti, bayern management still met with Guardiola to ask for his opinion on who should succeed Ancelotti |
