Every state in Nigeria is a debtor state, Obiano took N10billion loan to avoid taking the salary bailout just to pretend and fool people.

Ask your brothers to show you the debt chart they carry around like holy bible, you will see anambra on that list. Debt is debt regardless how much the debt is.


Anambra is a poor state hence the state budget not able to do anything apart from paying salary and he's not even paying full salary because he can not afford to. N110 budget is salary only budget, nothing more.


When was the last time he commissioned anything? The only thing he can afford to commission is borehole like village local government chairman with aso ebi delegation and loudspeaker and microphone..


What is the IGR number? One of the lowest in NIGERIA..

How much is Osun state's debt compared to the so called commissioned project? Are workers and pensioners still owed? What is the IGR of Osun state for 2015 and 2016. You can tell us that of 2017 too.

I'd rather love a poor state that won't fleece my children tomorrow because of the debts the present government is incurring rather than a state that is so indebted and would soon be auctioned on OLX or jumia

Make una leave the guy. He is angry and frustrated because his state of Osun is a rural state filled with mud houses with no toilets. I understand his hopelessness and that was we left him to continue showing his anger and frustration.

2. Anambra's budget is a sorry and despicable guguru and ekpa salary only budget, one of the lowest in Nigeria, it means a very very poor state


3. Anambra cannot execute any project and haven't commissioned anything in years apart from the village bore holes obingo the borehole governor is commissioning from one ipob village to the next..


4. On top of that, obingo is not, can not and have not been paying full salary because anambra is too poor, no projects and half salary.


And his one and only project, the best in iboland is an eyesore, a sand sand falling apart death trap built by bricklayers and falling apart in just after 1 year

Mr Jerry Nnubia, the Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Anambra , says that the current minimum wage being earned by workers should be increased to N50,000 monthly from its present N18,000.

Nnubia told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Awka, capital of Anambra, that the increment became imperative following the “harsh” economic realities in the country.

Nnubia said that the minimum wage was long overdue for an upward review.

“At the time we negotiated for a minimum wage of N18, 000, a dollar was exchanging for N140, but a dollar exchanges for between N220 and N240 now.

“The cost of living; accommodation, transportation and food items has also gone high, making it difficult for salary earners to take care of their basic needs,” he said.

NAN also reports that the Association of Senior Civil Servants last month also demanded a minimum wage of N46, 000 for workers.

Its Secretary-General, Mr. Bashir Lawal, in Lagos State, said that the existing N18, 000 minimum wage could not meet the socio-economic demands of workers.

According to Nnubia, the Federal Government’s fight against corruption will further help to improve the economy.

He urged the Federal Government to review its housing policy for workers, noting that civil servants had not benefitted from the existing housing scheme despite their monthly contributions to the scheme.

“The current contributions of workers to the national housing scheme should be made to work,” he said.

He commended Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra for his positive dispositions towards workers’ welfare, but noted that more still needed to be done in the state.

“Anambra workers are full of expectations that Obiano will put smiles on their faces by fulfilling his promises of increasing salaries,” the unionist said.
