A young man was killed last night attack in Anyiin, Benue State, the country home of the ex-Governor Gabriel Suswam. The deceased was said to have been killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen after the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim K Idris paid to troubled areas in the state along with his team.

A Facebook user, Ushahemba Gande shared the sad news online. Below is what he wrote;

Immediately after IGP left Anyiin ,we have received a death body of one of our brother who reported death around Gbeji to Anyiin road. At about 6pm this evening been 13 January 2018. As u can see in the picture below.

It should be recalled that the Police boss, Ibrahim Idris, was ordered by president Muhammadu Buhari to visit Benue in order to put a stop to the herdsmen attack in the state.

The IG moved to Benue state with five units of riot policemen making a total of 10 units deployed in the state, in addition to other police contingents and special forces on the ground.

Na wa ooooo
Any set of people associated associated with Islam can murder others without mercy.
If not that BUHARI is heartless he should have resigned. he knows he is the reason hundreds of people are dying. in any sane country the president could have stepped down or be impeached.
Wat sort of country is this?

Anyway the moment I noticed that the authorities termed the killings as herdsmen/farmers conflict I knew hope was far away. they are painting it to the whole world to make it look like two groups are fighting
Even lai Mohammed said we should not talk about it.

WICKED PEOPLE
MAY HERDSMEN VISIT EVERY SINGLE SOUL STILL SUPPORTING BUHARI

what is David Mark and co doing in the red chamber sef? Is it a treason to move an impeachment motion against President buhari?... God will judge us for not speaking up against injustice and refusal to act when we are in the position to do so. Injustice somewhere is injustice everywhere.

May your days be long my brother!

A brother can now slit a brother's throat over some land dispute and dump his body in a farm.. Guess whom they'd blame conclusively once the body is found!

So, it was actually the hausa-fulani that went on rampage yesterday...

Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, has announced the imposition of a dusk to dawn curfew following a protest organized by Hausa-Fulani youths in Makurdi, the state capital today January 13th.

The Nation reports that some Hausa-Fulani youths at about 9am today, blocked all major streets and staged bloody protests in Makurdi.

The youths smashed vehicles, manhandled innocent people and shot others. The residents and business owners hurriedly closed their shops and ran home for fear of unknown.

The protests which caught many unaware started simultaneously at 9:30 a.m. in Wadata, Wurukum, Northbank and Angwan – Jukun areas, all in Makurdi town. These areas are mostly populated by Hausa- Fulani people. At Wadata, the Hausa youths barricaded the busy Ankpa quarters junction and smashed over 15 vehicles and injured many passengers until a team of policemen arrived the scene. They carried out their operation up to Madikpo and Dele Bookshop.

An attempt to break into Igbo electronic shops and cart away good was met with a stiff resistance from the traders who came together keep watch over their properties.

In the wake of the attacks, the state governor announced a dusk to dawn curfew.
