You need to buy an SSL certifcate and take it from there.

To activate "Secured Hypertext Protocol" (https) in your website, you need to buy it from your hosting provider

It's easy to do with namecheap if you are using them.

Switching to HTTPS seems to affect traffic adversely, [url]questechie.com[/url] traffic was down 50% since migrating and guess the slow indexing by Google could be blamed.

It's possible that you lost some links when you moved from HTTP to HTTPS. make sure you change every link that's pointing to HTTP to HTTPS instead.

When done right, it won't affect your traffic. but rather give it a power lift...
