SalamRushdie:
When you find out LCs are drawn at special CBN rates it knocks out the argument of Naira slump..Bro if you know tkind of corruption and roundtripping going on in the current fuel import racket you will faint.
I know there's corruption involved but during the scarcity, it was only NNPC involved in importing.
So they're not paying subsidy, just running at a loss.

There's a reason the VP said the government wasn't paying subsidy but NNPC was.

Wailers are not happy with the intervention. They would have want the situation to be worst than this, so that they can have opportunity to condemn the govt or even push govt to increase the fuel price for masses to suffer the more.
You will wail till 2023, we are beginning to see changes in our foreign reserve, agriculture, railways, roads and our federal government schools across the nation.
With all due respect, you're a dunce and a daft slowpoke

Even at that there's a law forbidding NNPC to run at loss..

You what to tell me VP's statement shouldn't be taken literally..?

I seriously do not know what you're defending here

Can you point out the law?

Has NNPC ever generated a profit?

You people should at least try to use your brains before you post. The NNPC is not paying anybody subsidy. As at today, the NNPC is the only one importing fuel into the country. They are simply selling at a controlled price to distributors to resell to us at the pump. Simple! There is no subsidy. They simply import high and sell low! Under Jonathan it was the PDP criminals pretending to import petrol but actually importing nothing, and then collecting billions from Jonathan's government under the false pretense that they importing petrol. Jonathan's marketers imported high or imported nothing at all, but still collected billions from Jonathan and Ngozi. Here the NNPC is the sole importer and seller to distributors. They import all the petrol and sell at their own price to we the consumers.

Understood??
Why not clap for yourself.
Just make Google your friend so that you can check the meaning of subsidy in there.
The man from NNPC said they are paying N26 per litre while you are hiding behind your laptop to claim they are not subsidising.
So what do you call that N26.

Our problem is that we dont have working refineries in the country. Until the govt sells those refineries and allows the likes of Exxon Mobil, shell and BP to build there own refineries then this will probably continue. We shouldn't have to pay for landing cost of oil in the first if we didn't have to import oil in the first place. Our problems in this country are indeed man made.

Is this guy saying that NNPC have money that shouldn't be paid into TSA?

We changed everything to bring PMB to power and he has since changed everything.

These people are moving money to stabilise and restructure the north secretly, while southerners are still calling for restructuring and stand aloof. They know what they are doing, stealing with style. Buhari already caged the south with all his men over running Nigeria. Make south dey wait.

you should know by now that in the eyes of pmb's social media defenders, he can do no wrong...

same man lied about not owning a house in Abuja, later it was proven he had a mansion, yet they hailed him...

same man said no more medical tourism for FG officials, but he is the no.1 medical tourist, yet they hailed him...

now the FG is playing games on the issue of fuel subsidy rather than ask for clarifications if they don't understand, they will hail him...

when a man buys a product at N10 & sells at N6 has the man not subsidised the product for the buyer?

but pmb's soldiers will twist it into another thing...
