You just wake up and your car battery and gas cylinder is missing. What a bad way to start the day... you will first be destabilized before you will start replacing the stolen things.

What happens when lightning comes in contact with the cylinder? What happens when the sun is too sorching? Leaving the cylinder outside for a prolong amount of time is also dangerous. The best thing to do would be to have a big ass ventilation in your kitchen incase of a leak, the gas can escape easily through the vent rather than being trapped inside leading to an explosion.

Camp gas has always scared me. I won't use that thing. I'd rather use Kerosene stove. When using gas, my cylinder must be separated from the fire (particularly outside). Lalasticlala people need to know about the danger of having their gas cylinder inside the house and more particularly the use of camp gas.

Good observation. If your kitchen is well ventilated, no need to fear. My own 12.5 kg gas cylinder sits behind my cooker and I am not changing the position because I know what am doing - I keep my kitchen door and window open 24/7 and turn off the control on the cylinder after cooking.With good ventilation even if there is a leakage gas will dissipate and risk of fire is almost nil.
