Birds of a feather!
The funny thing most people don't know is Dangote's refinery is in a free trade zone.
The implication is that he can even sell to foreigners if that's what profits his business without government having nothing to do about it.

I wonder why a government and a nation is waiting for just one individual to cure their disease, with they not making attempts

''He said that anytime oil price went up, the naira landing cost of petroleum products also increased''
So why didn't the price of fuel reduce when oil was at $40pd.

This APC and Buhari's lazy government promised to build one refinery in every year, yet, no single screw used in building refinery in place.
The worst part of it is that, this corrupt Fulani herdsmen terrorists president Muhammadu Buhari, has corruptably appointed himself as minister of petroleum to be stealing oil money and nobody is talking.

This shithole called itself federal republic of the zoo is dying and sinking, yet, zombies mumu never do.

NNPC in Red? Or the country is in red?

Can the citizens of this country survive the impending hardship that this Buhari's maladministration will cause?

Why is it that the issue of fuel scarcity, or the availability of PMS in general, has only become a problem under this Buhari?

This country is in deep shit and the citizens better brace up for the untold suffering that Buhari is unleashing.

THE TRUTH IS THAT BUHARI HAS NOT THE SLIGHTEST CLUE OF HOW TO RUN A NATION. THE EARLIER WE TACKLE HIM OUT OF THAT OFFICE THE BETTER FOR US ALL. OTHERWISE, WE WILL FIND OURSELVES CONFRONTED WITH CHAOS AND CIVIL WAR

Why can't the government fund the "illegal refineries" in the south south order than bombing and destroying them and paying so much in getting our products back?
Will the country crumble if we do that? I'm definitely going into politics next year if I fail, I'm getting a masters in journalism. I must be involved in this country's politics no more taking the backseat and receiving shits from the government

You think those people really have shame? I doubt they do. If they really do have, Buhari won't be thinking of second term, talkless of campaigning for it. The man is so confused, cabinet he can't reshuffle, service chiefs he can change. It took him two years to make necessary appointments into government agencies and parastatal boards, when he did it was all confusion with dead men ruling over living beings. Nigeria is just at a standstill.

Northerners and the Yorubas won't let that to happen. Ofcourse, they are afraid that people from the SS region would benefit from the perceived economic advantages that the refineries would bring. If the oil installations were in the north or southwest, there won't even be one Nigeria because we would have been gone our ways years ago.

Ultimately, it is the idiotic SS people that allo their oil to be stolen and shared to the parasites in the aforementioned regions. Instead of quietly blowing up ALL the oil installations, the stupid Niger Delta Avengers are busy announcing their meetings and attack plans, because they want Wike to call them and give them money. Put "bumbs" in Shell, Mobil, and the rest of the oil installation sites and see the country come to a halt - a sure way of saying goodbye to one Nigeria.

Point of correction: Nigeria is a shithole.

I am going to vote out this government that elevated Nigeria the zoo to shitholes, comes 2019.

Another solution is to privatise Nigeria government to those countries that don't have oil and other resources.

Better still, conduct referendum let everyone decides where they want to be as citizens between 21st century Biafra republic and Nigeria.

NNPC has to be really looked into. What's happening to the 450000 barrels dedicated to domestic consumption. Besides when oil prices were lower where's the surplus
I don't how true it is but I heard the 450000 barrels for local consumption is actually being swapped for petrol, no money is paid out.

Another option the government can follow to remedy this problem is by strengthening the naira to be like 220-250 for a dollar in actual sense the naira is currently undervalued for an economy with excess of 40 billion in reserves, the CBN can simple do that by more injection of liquidity and lifting of ban on some fx prohibited items.

If dollar is 220 the value of 145 that we buy petrol for will be higher than what it is and landing cost will be like 120

Even. when they had a substantive president, what special benefit did they derive, not to talk of spare tyre VP,it is cheer idiocy to choose tribe over competence, anyways we hear buhari is enticing, the Igbo with the VP slot,we are waiting to see how,the Igbo's will react, whether they will caught the bait like their sw counterpart.
