Customs Officials Seize 2,200 Fuel Ladened Jerry Cans Smuggled Into The Country by Prinq(op): 3:30am On Jan 23, 2018

The Nigeria Customs Service, Seme Border Command, has intercepted 2,200 jerry cans of smuggled petrol with a Duty Paid Value worth over N10 million between Dec. 1, 2017 till date. This was disclosed by command’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Taupyen Selchang, who presented the jerry cans filled with fuel to newsmen. According Taupyen, the jerry cans were smuggled through Pashi-Yekeme Community in Owode and the creeks.

Government can't provide fuel for the people and you won't allow people to import their own fuel again? Right now we provide our own housing, transportation electricity, water and security after all the taxes. angry
