Hahahahaha yes o
Welcome to my reality

My son will not take up to 5 spoons at home but will finish a whole plate at creche cheesy wayo pikin

His feeding at home has improved too

Also if I may advice go to the creche unannounced and see how he's been fed. Find out the time that they feed the kids and pop in there. If they want to form nonsense, insist! In fact request for CCTV footage too if they have. That's what I did. You need to be sure he's not force fed and you also need to see how they sit him down to feed him

I discovered that my son got used to their style of feeding so I started using that style too and he started eating more.

Lol
Welcome to motherhood

However if I may advice,

As soon as baby sleeps, sleep o! May seem hard but do it for your sanity.
Also, express and keep for your dh to feed him so you can rest!
At night, express and keep, when he wakes up, let your dh fees him while you catch a nap.

Babies love body warmth, if he's fussy let your dh pull his shirt, and have skin to skin with him. That is, UnCloth baby, your dh also lies down without a shirt, then he puts baby on his chest to lie down then cover baby with a blanket to keep him warm

Then again in the early days, Some babies stay awake at night and sleep during the day. My son did that till he was 4 months old.

Pele

Take pcm for the headache. It's safe.

pele... Na big package filled with orisirisi goodies. just keep going with the flow.
Are you getting enough sleep? Please ensure you do and make sure you are eating well.
I want to believe you are getting enough support with house chores so you don't get stressed up. even if you're not, leave house chores till when you're well rested for the day.
I pray you strength for the days ahead.

Lol, very possible sef. If she's still nursing she may prefer to take breastmilk from you so all that spoon story is not working. Try and get someone else to feed her at home and watch from a distance

The seeds can go as low as 400 naira. My husband bought it around that price. I think it's the capsule that is expensive. Don't know the price though

Okay, thanks
How many grams did your husband get for that price?

I don't know the price of the capsules but you can get the seed from
1. shoprite- check the section where they put rice and co.
2. Asian shops- Osata supermarket opebi, there's another at Ilupeju (if you live in lagos)
3. natural hair salons/product stores.
4. mallams that sell herbs/essential oils near mosques on fridays

Okay
Thanks ma'am

I'm a dad too and i do this alot for my wife and baby so that wifey can rest. I put my baby on my chest and she will just be fine there. Shes six month now and anytime i come back from work, and i just look at her face, she smiles back at me; at that moment, i forget all the 'wahala' have been tru all the day. Its such a pleasure. I encourage all dad to do thesame.

what's with baby girls and daddy's chest sef? cheesy
once my DH puts Zara on her chest, she becomes calm and most likely sleeps off while my own chest is for struggling and almost tearing my shirt grin

Welcome to motherhood.
In addition to all the advice you got, please and please always support your back while breastfeeding your baby. Make sure you sit in a comfortable position, you can support your leg with a stool, carry your baby on your arms supporting it with a pillow and put him on your breast.
You take your baby to the breast not the other way round ie bending to put the breast on the baby’s mouth. This will also help with your posture.
Massage your body with hot water. Your body went through a lot to bring forth your precious baby. Your pelvic bones softened and expanded to accommodate the baby. It needs some time to readjust back to normal that is why in the olden days, you are pampered for at least 3 months after delivery. They bathe, and massage your body with Sheabutter and palm kernel oil.

grin grin grin grin grin mbok how many days old is John that you are already complaining?

You never Chi chum tin cheesy cheesy tongue

Try and sleep when he sleeps,
Rest your back when you nurse don't lean or bend forward, let John rest on you while you rest your back on the wall, chair! Use pillow to get more support.

Allow and accept any help at this stage infact demand for it.
Give mom,dh or mil John to feed, pacify and play with and go get rest!!!

You've been with John alone since 9months bearing all the aches and pains (plus your mortal combat delivery cheesy NNE you need rest) Let daddy or grandma take over from time to time.

Vigilante is best experienced than told cause every baby is different! But the common factor is YOU DONT GET MUCH SLEEP grin

tongue tongue Welcome to the club cheesy Sorry dear, just know this too shall pass. Very soon John will adjust his pattern. Just try and rest especially during the day.

In other news, my son now has this Wonderful sleep pattern. From mostly before/10pm when he sleeps at night, He wakes up 1am to suck and sleep right back after then he wakes up 5 am to suck again and sleep till like 7.30am.
I just discovered 3 days ago he also wakes up by 3am but plays alone and then sleeps back. These days I wake up refreshed unlike our hourly feeding in the past.
