President Buhari has the fundamental right to contest again, just like every other citizen of Nigeria. In Nigeria politicians do not win elections by their performances, they win by the sentiments of region, ethnicity, Hate, love, party affiliation etc.

I really do want President Buhari to contest for 2019 presidential election ... if he loses; we will know that Nigerians has been set free of these sentiments that have held them down over the years.

let me ask simple questions, will the Yoruba's leave there own ( Osibanjo) if he contest with Buhari for 2019, will the northern vote against their son come 2019 and is APC ready to loose power so soon? I leave you to answer...

I repeat!!! I want the president to contest again and let Nigerians prove a point if they can.

Remember in 2015 after all said and done about GEJ, the people of south south and south east held onto GEJ and gave him all their votes... if same play out in 2019 (that is if Buhari decide to contest) sure you already know who will win.... grin

you have raised some valid points but I was shocked when I told about the turn out at inec office close to me.

hundreds who previously were apolitical queued up to get their PVCs
people are not longer non challant when it comes to voting. people in the south are better enlighted.thanks to social media.

buhari had overwhelming support that ate deep into the votes of south West, South East n south south.it would be foolhardy to believe he is as popular as he was pre 2015

the south west can see glaring, how osibanjo has been relegated to the background with almost no say at all.people had erroneously thought he would be able to sway things (buhari and his policies) to favour their region.
unfortunately nothing like that happened .
the Vp is merely a figure head as it were, handy only to canvass for votes and nothing more

if you call the lingering Fuel scarcity, the high inflation rate, palpable hardship and hopelessness good economic indices, not to forgetting to mention the rampaging fulani herdsmen, bazzen nepotic disposition of government to major appointment, one sided corruption fight etc

u didn't mention benue, Kogi n Nassarawa State.were they all lumped together as North?

2019 would be an interesting year though . people would not vote blindly, I can assure you

Fact is Buhari starts with 10-12 million votes from the North against any opponent. He has done so since 1999.

Further, he strategically protected his base by appointing Northerners in key Northern states into his government.

In addition, the fake results from the Eastern Region states of SS and SE, in 2015 will never happen in in 2019. Even if the Eastern region votes 100% for Atiku or pdp, pdp will not get up-to 5 million votes from the region.

Now, the Western region who gave Buhari about 55% of their vote in 2015, will increase it to 80-90% or about 6-7 million votes.

So where in earth will Atiku or pdp get the votes to beat Buhari/Tinubu/Amaechi machine?

The election is over even before any votes are cast.

No force can stop the Buhari machine from winning in 2019.

we shall see. We will know who is smarter between the North and the South, the Christians and the Muslims... As it stand now, even Tinubu knows he can't force Buhari on South West... Only those currently benefiting from this government can go on and vote for him.

South west have realised they made a mistake.

We shall see how it will turn out this time.

chief on basis are you predicating your permutations on that the West would give buhari more votes this time

it would be erroneous for you to believe that buhari still enjoys the overwhelming support he got in 2015

school me sir

although you raised a good point that buhari has fortified inec using his people. a good move which would strongly water down opposition votes

Anybody thinking they can remove these marauder's through ballot box or wishful thinking better think again.

In that gathering called APC we have the masters of election rigging, we have kingpin of election touts, we have chief priest of blood thirsty vampires all assembled in there and they have vowed to hold on to power.

So to get them out we need a youth movement that will ultimately lead to bloodshed. That's their trade mark.
These ones ain't GEJ they won't just walk away. They are desperados, they will kill but we must kick them out they can't take us forward. They are darkness personified.

The whole thing is getting funny daily, Buhari must be a strong man then, But you go back to Daura.

2019 election go too sweet

Buhari is too strong for them. The corrupt National Assembly, the 419 Corporate cabals, the former president who failed in his third term agenda but wants to come back through the backdoor. It is just corruption fighting back; more ferociously

Hmmm, if this is true then obasanjo is angry for not having political influence on APC or PDP, so he is determined to create a party where he would single handedly dictate it decision. If obasanjo really want change as he claims, he shouldn't have go after PDP and APC governors and senators, he should recruitment new blood and start a movement. OBASANJO was pained after he returned from Liberia and saw how George weah was doing "boy boy" for Helen jonhson sirleaf and the present president of Nigeria and the past one did not do such to him....

Believe me, your parents don't have a soooon in you.
