Good afternoon, I want to make an appeal to Nairalanders. I'm a single dad residing in Lagos. My daughter has been home for a week now because of my inability to pay her second term school fees. I've been out of my 60K/month job since September, I paid my rent on the first week of this month. I have exhausted my savings, I manage to feed myself and my daughter.

It is shameful but I am asking for assistance. I need my daughter back to school on Monday. No amount is too small.

i told my brother to go back to the village if he cant pay rent in Lagos.... You can as well go back to your shit hol and poo in the pit hole.

we all need to calm down as a country. So many questions need to be asked. I have walked pass these herdsmen severally without them injuring me. Until I read what led to that, I will hold on to my comment. Wish the victim(s) quick recovery though.
Inasmuch as these Fulani cattle herders are guilty of most of d crime, some might have been orchestrated by some powerful, desperate, devilish and wicked politicians who would be happy to cash in on Buhari's non-performance, so as to whip up ethnic and religious sentiments that will send Buhari packing. I don't blame them 100%, cos Buhari and d APC did the same thing to Jonathan. What goes around, always comes around. Therefore, this evil is not totally perpetrated by Fulani herdsmen; enemies of d govt are also involved. Buhari is now reaping what he sold in GEJ's administration. Karma is bad o!

If you think they are targeting only Benue and Taraba, you are dreaming. It is time the entire south and middle belt take fierce action to deal with this people regardless of political affiliation. OPC should rise up and show them. It's time we form militia group or vigilante force in all southern states and middle belt. After all, they have Hisba police arresting southerners doing legal businesses in the North. Yoruba e ronu! Middle belt think twice! Southerners wake up, their agenda is real!!!!!!! Their agenda is not only to islamize, it is also to 'Fulanize' the south and seize it leadership as they have done to the Hausas. For the past 30 years, there is no top political or traditional leader from Kano that is Hausa.meanwhile Kano was once 100% Hausas before the jihad....

You spoke the truth man. What goes around comes around. But the problem is that the masses suffer for all these. Our path and that of the destroyers and wicked ones will never cross IJN. Happy weekend fellow.

I reckon the Ogun state people were solidly behind Buhari. Now they're reaping the full consequences.

Well it's high time we armed ourselves individually since the government can't do nothing.
We are still solidly behind him. Political herdsmen can not and will never discourage us.

While farming community accept herdsmen because of cheap meat, cheese, hide and abattoir jobs they loose their source of living in the process #farming

Traditional leaders collect cattles as royalties during festive period hence their silence

If I'm a state governor this are my solutions
1. Call abattoir leaders to a meeting to get the full-scale effect of breaking ties with the Fulani herdsmen
2. sign agreement to bring cattle from northern state and Niger republic if need be which will be the only accepted cattle for slaughter in abattoir and party use
3.set up cattle ranch zone managed by private sector from where all our cattle need will be sourced going forward.

Force of demand will push them away from my state

**Allow only cattle routed directly to the abattoir. Any cattle grazing gets instantly confiscated and auctioned off cheaply to public. Herdsmen arrested jailed 2-3years hard labour. No options of fines
. nice post except that cattle meant for the abattoir should be transported by lorries.

I'm not offended. That said, ain't going to die now. Secondly, one yoruba adage says ''we no dey hear anything after saying you are right''. Travelling Abuja to Osun one day i was driving between okenne and kabba at around 5.30am. One SARS police told me my car was tinted which a blind guy will tell you no. After dragging the matter, he became angry and pointed his gun at me. I gave him 2k and today I am alive. Point is some people don't value lives and best thing to stay alive is to avoid them. I run large farmlands and if for any reason they invade my farm, best I will do is get the police involved or speak to them calmly. If dem hear a so if dem no hear I move on. I value my life. This country will still better and I will be alive by God's grace to witness it. My blood is not worth it for this country. Anyone that wants to shed his own should.

Nice one!

And you ensure to have it entrenched in the State constitution because you might not get a second term.

Expand this and make something of it by the way. I don't the Agric Ministry civil servants have any serious alternative framework of options for state beef quota than those irresponsible Fulani killers and their malnourished, disease-ridden cattle.

It's good my earlier point was duly acknowledged! From your epistle, you are either NOT a Nigerian or a careless one at best, who has intentionally refused to come to terms with reality.

Surely they will be transported by state vehicle(cheap fare) but the cattle will be purchased by representative of abattoir operators

Every bit of attack is nw fulani herdsmen. This country funny wo. Campaign against Buhari and APC has started since last year. Unfortunately, some precious lives will pay the ultimate price. We should all take it easy. Leadership comes from God. It shouldn't be a do or die affairs.

I'm shocked at what these ofe nmanu people are saying here. Is it the first time Fulani herdsmen are attacking them? Is this not there modus operandi, attack soft targets like women and farmers, and inflict deadly injuries or even kill them outrightly? When they should be exhibiting outrage, they are here playing Ostrich and even making excuses for the same terrorists! Is these people cursed or they the cause?
