First time I will be seeing rear facing propellers, quite strange.
Has been done before

Pushers have better wing-loading and engine efficiency than a puller, but they are more unstable as the centre of gravity shifts to the rear. This can be overcome by digital flight controls, which were absent in earlier designs.

But indi... Have the bad habit of take unnecessary risks with out of the ordinary designs.

That is why their programs end up late

Both have their pros and cons but generally forward propellers r preferred.

It depends on the design team what parameters and operational targets they have set for the aircraft.

Anyways usage of digital flight control systems have made usage of rear propellers much simpler.

They wanted more loiter time among other reasons that is why maybe they went for rear propellers .

Actually it is for the civilian market as a regional aircraft , but it will go for military certification too.

At least that is the aim
