3. The Work of Salvation and Regeneration of Souls.

4. Sanctification.
1 Peter 1:2
Who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.

5. Guidance.

Conclusion:
The Holy Spirit persuades the heart to come to Christ, regenerates souls and sanctifies each child of God. The Holy Spirit is sovereign and has been at work since He descended on the day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit empowers the Church/believers with the baptism of the Holy Spirit and gives gifts of the Holy Spirit to believers as He Wills.

What an awesome God that would leave the Holy Spirit...the third member of the Godhead....for us to have as a Comforter...amongst so many other things..
The Holy Spirit....just this past week...was preparing me for a "storm"....impressing my heart to be encouraged.
It is when one goes through a crisis, that people show who they are.

Okay, I'm talking about the disagreements within churches as a whole, one church sees the other(s) as heretic or not a true church. from the very beginning, Churches have split and diverged and disagreed about matters of extreme consequence, and matters that seem (on the face of it) totally trivial. From Arianism to "Mariolotry", from thefilioque to anti-trinitarian Oneness Pentecostalism, from hardline Feeneyism to Christian Universalism, from Quietism to televangelists ... any doctrinal standpoint held by one Christian group is guaranteed to be held in contempt by other (ostensibly) fellow Christians. Yet every last one of them claim to know this because Holy Spirit taught them; it seems holy spirit teaches contradictory things

unto your post, don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming the holy spirit, I'm asking as someone from outside looking in and these differences look trivial to me but to those inside these aren't not trivial at all as salvation heavily depends on this or at least that's what they say


There's a difference between

1. "They understand the teachings of the holy spirit different from the way we do but that doesn't make them wrong and us right or vice versa"
and
2. "They're totally wrong about this and don't have the holy spirit, they either aren't being taught by the holy spirit or they're being inspired by a spirit from the devil (or devil himself or demons or all of them) and won't make heaven"

the former sounds like what you're implying but the latter is actually how many Christian sects view other sects
