the owners of those shops and almost everybody at agric knows they are on government land, and the government has been destroying buildings on roads since last year, cause they wanna expand the road.

So the people saying they were giving two weeks notice are liers.

The government is also destroying buildings along bayeku-igbogbo road

No illegal structure, una no dey hear.

Before you rent shop get the address and building number and go to LGA and do groundwork search to be sure it has permit and authorization of the council. If you dont you risk loosing your downpayment and commercial stock.

Demolition of illegal structures is not new thing in Lagos, people ought to have learnt from losses of other people.

Nigerians like being lawless... they see it as a birthright and come shouting foul after the deed has been done.

Every piece of land belongs to the government.

It's Only in Nigeria you'll build on government land
They'll collect their dues while you are building
Collect land use charge when you are done building
Then come back and demolish it.

please don't politicise everything... what's wrong is wrong, leave party out of this... if you want development like the rest of the world you have to do your own part as a law abiding citizen.
P.S: I'm not supporting any political party here

all structures at agic bus stop are illegal because they are built under high power tension lines. so government will not pay a sisi to anyone.... the plan for the road has been designed as far back in the 1970s b4 some of us were born.
