Your chances of getting a ticket goes up at 120km/hr on that highway.
Speed limit is 110km/hr on QEII like most major highways in Canada. Normal travel time should be around 3hrs.

Kindly help out again. I am packing beans, yam flour etc, please do I have to wrap such stuff with foil, clingfilm and put in ziploc? Or that packaging only applies to spices and fish? Urgent response anyone please, I need to tidy up by tomorrow, thanks

MummyJaygirls:

Thanks

I used “GMG” and some really big travelling bags that don’t have tyres or rods, just cloth.
I wrapped with foil, cling film and put in ziploc bags

Why would anyone want to put themselves at risk so as to arrive at a destination 5 to 10 minutes early?

If one does not get docked by some over zealous Alberta highway sheriffs or the RCMP or city police near city limits, one could get captured by an hidden speed camera like the one shown in the pic below. Totaling over 6 points would hurt chances of getting lots of government jobs that requires handling official vehicles.

Yes we did return our visas back to VO.
New visas were issued and old ones cancelled.
We sent the passports with required docs (copy of birth certificate, additional family information, copy of data page, generic form and medicals)

Got a mail after 1 week that baby's visa was ready. So we sent baby's intl passport and passport photos as requested.

Hi, congrats on your new born baby. Please, if I may ask, did you return your visas back to the VO in order to include your new born's application? I would like to know how you went about it.

So cos of confusion yesterday, I found myself in Fort Saskatchewan (the story get as e be) I live at Edmonton

If only my Oga knew that his wife don turn indigene for Canada, he go dey respect me wella, lol.

Fort Saskatchewan is quite small and village looking. Looked like an industrialized area. So those not sure of where to go and like small towns, Fort is for u smiley

When I realized I was a long way from home, fear come dey catch me and I started imagining all sorts, like police pulling me over and arresting me for not having an ID (forgot my wallet at home) I imagined the vehicle breaking down on the highway with no help and me and my pikin will be stranded then Oga will finally catch me that I no Dey house, lol.

I wonder what town I’d find myself “mistakenly” soon.

Hi, don't know if your question has been answered but I found this link that summarizes my thoughts.

quote author=winter post=64642640]Hello everyone,

I and my husband got our COPR last year and just successfully added our new born baby.

Please I need insight into settling in Edmonton. What area of Edmonton would be best to settle in with a newborn baby. Are there any info we should be aware of? How easy or not is it to get those work from home jobs for myself. I dont intend to start full time work at the moment. [/quote]

Wow. Thank you so much for your feedback. I never thought one could add a dependant after receiving COPR. I initially thought one would have to go through the family sponsorship route to do that instead. @ the bolded, that's pretty fast.

I think you can only add a new family member (if that makes sense) the way we did.

I think your application will be rejected if you inform them of a family member who existed b4 COPR but was not stated in your application. All existing family members I believe should be stated in one's application b4 COPR whether going to Canada or not.

Pls anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

I typically put such things in ziploc and label with paper tape. I often meet a note that immigration searched my bag, that's all.

he has to land first before you can. So he'll complete the landing process in Canada before your arrival. Inland applicants usually know how that works, I do not know where they do it.
