Is this CHAN competition an age grade tournament?
If not. Then, the keeper being older does not hold any water.
Bottom line, the guy got the job done!

He single handedly won the 2007 U17 finals also. He has always been an incredibly goolie

Luck has been their inspiration and motivation all the way.

The quality of their play is poor. They lack coordination on the pitch and struggle like school kids to find the back of the net.

Their match caused commotion last night at the bar where I watched the EPL games. Majority wanted to Watch Man City Vs West Brom instead of wasting their money and time watching insipid display by Nigerian team against Sudan, a few insisted on idling away the time with CHAN game.

Nigeria players far better than you, they're just not good at scoring - it should have been more than a a goal.

The team is not that bad, at least for this tournament, they play the ball well, they possess and are always in charge. They only have problems scoring - they're always not coordinated at the opponent's goal post.

We have talents, bad economy and chronic unpatriotism remains our biggest problem. To think that yesterday Nigerians overwhelmingly chose to watch de gea's Man U over the same Ajiboye makes me cry.

Just so sad we don't really support our clubs and National teams.

I remember watching the National team from 1994 till 2006 or so. Stopped watching when we started playing nonsense.

I can bet the % of Nigerians watching the EUROPEAN Champions League is higher than that of the AFRICAN Nations Cup.

I haven't watched a single match of this CHAN 2018 undecided
What a shame for not watching the match...then you talk about being patriotic.
It starts with you.

robosky02:
who is Dele Ajiboye?

Oladele Muniru Ajiboye (born 7 August 1990 in Osogbo, Osun State) is a Nigerian football goalkeeper. He currently plays for Plateau United F.C

Career:

Ajiboye began his career with Prime F.C., and in September 2008 joined Wikki Tourists F.C. After one year with Wikki Tourists, where he played 14 games, he left on 16 September 2009 to sign with the Spanish club Pontevedra CF. After being released from Pontevedra in November 2011, he signed the next month with Shooting Stars. After 3SC's relegation in 2013, he signed to play for Nasarawa United. However, transfer issues kept him from playing until two months in the new season.

International:

Ajiboye represented his Nigeria at the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup in the Korea Republic, winning the championship with the Golden Eaglets. On 15 December 2008 he was called for the Nigerian under-20 team for the 2009 African Youth Championship in Rwanda and was a member of the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt.

He was Nigeria's starting goalkeeper for the 2012 Olympic qualifiers and All Africa Games qualifiers under coach Augustine Eguavoen.
If he is born of August forget it he will go far in his career

h

You dye mind the mumu elede Sudanese coach.Given,Ajiboye was brilliant on the night, but equally crucial was Gabriel's goal, the efforts of the defenders because if to say dem no dey, of course we would have conceded, also the midfielders and attackers, including Okpotu that seemed unable to make any good pass as he had a bad day,at least he still join harass the Sudanese for pitch

Re: Dele Ajiboye Took Nigeria To CHAN Final, Says Sudan Coach Logarusic Hrvatsko by slex(m): 10:51am On Feb 01, 2018
My take in last nights game;

1. Okpotu should be benched because that guy lacks balll control and finishing.

2. Ifeanyi red carded 9 i was actually glad).

3. Let back moves forward too much and crosses are poor. If you are not a MARCELO then please stop moving and causing undue pressure on our defence.

4. Ojo should be more clinical and think faster. Each time he gets the ball he will just be lost and be turning in circles.

5. Ezenwa and ajiboye are bth good so anyone who mans the post in the final deserves it.

6. EZE and the number 5 CB very good and composed.

7. right back osas tried.

8. Gabriel > okpotu as our number 9.

9. if they really wish tto win Morocco then they all better learn to finish/score well. We dont win headers at ALL. Any ball that goes up they dont even attempt to jump to nod or they jump andd NEVER nod the ball. No technical play, no offense or defense startegy, no free flowing passing. just kick from back to front and hope for the best strategy.

10. Goodluck CHAN eagles
