gawu1:I am not in support of violence in any form from the two ethnic groups. Rather what I mean is that those propagating violence should know that it's a two way thing... you can also be harmed all killed even though you started it. In this age and time,I strongly believe dialogue is the key to every misunderstanding. |

This is one of the rare cases of the killing of Hausa Fulani by the native community which made headlines; however, it is a common occurrence after any small communal clash when natives would block the highway searching for innocent travelling Hausa/Fulani passengers to kill. Our biased media would often ignore these killings but readily report reprisals by Fulanis against the natives - because they sympathise with the latter as fellow Christians. |

darqly:I lived in plateau state and was always travelling there until last year. The ppl got guns yes, but not against fulani attacks but for the religious crisis that was rampant then. I can never support war, I am not saying the fulanis are better warriors than anyone. All im saying is that these communities cannot cope with the fulani guerilla attacks. They import their brothers from various parts of Africa, unleash mayhem and disperse. Those u see in communities are not the ones fighting. The fighters are those always in transit and hve no base. |

san316:Yeah..then the local once who habour them would continue to suffer reprisal in their stead..is that not stupidity? You bring in people to come and murder your host and want to live in peace..I tell you Nigeria is seating on a gun powder and the only thing keeping it intact is the military..the day the military crack with all these their one sided operation they are carrying out would be the end.....!! They think people are not following their operations... All just need be careful..no tribe is superior than another and no tribe should even dream of trying to subjugate the orhers or the same repeat episode of the wars of old would come back... Peace..!!! |

Bethor:If u read my post, I suggested that the fulani communities in that state should be identified and the leader should be held charged with the responsibility of identifying the aliens. This way, such night attacks will be prevented and it will be easy to go after the real marauders. Attacking random soft targets will only lead to continuous crisis which can last decades without an end. It is not about the present government or anything. |

ernieboy:But now, you want them to be held responsible for the crime that hasn't been committed and there should be no need to hold those responsible for this accountable? This is the reason everything is so messed up in this country, everyone is confused but yet thinks he has the best opinion. how many have been held responsible for the killings in January? Even their leaders came out and practically admitted committing the crime but none has been arrested. You can lie for Africa. |

Guyman02:The reason Nigerians will never move forward is the politicisation of such conflicts. Were there no herdsmen attack during the previous administration?Did it mean the government of GEJ was supporting them?(remember fulani herdsmen were rated among the top deadliest group during GEJ's regime). What about Boko haram? was it the GEJ government that was backing them? i.e if we apply ur theory. |

maasoap:miyetti Allah leaders came on air and said the attack was because if the the anti grazing law in Benue, if that is not an admission of responsibility then I winder what is. |

maasoap:what do u mean by crime that has not been committed? the Fulani's have been attacking communities and killing over some period now even in January 2018, non of them have been arrested. |

ernieboy:No, don't twist their words. They said that crisis escalated because of the anti grazing law. Do you know why? State Government backed vigilantes are using the law to harass and attack the herdsmen. |
