A friend already have a plan drawn for him by an expert but he later saw a house on construction that suit his taste more and changed mind.

If you have a house plan on ground can you please drop it here let's discuse about it. Experts are welcome. You might also be helping someone to adjust his/her plan.

i gave you a like for the nice suggestion even though I know it won't work. Nigerians like withholding information rather than sharing it.

I think it's more of safeguarding thier source of livelyhood than withholding info, The architect studies for 5+ years at a financial cost to gain the knowledge you are accusing him of withholding.
There are free plans available on Google, it would be easier to pull one from there and discuss here.

the post was not actually targeted at architects. There are alot of people who have finished building their houses but still have the plans with them and i believe there are also those presently building that can share.

But at the end of the day you need a professional to tailor the design to your specific needs and circumstances.
Best of luck anyway
