Former governor of Lagos State and All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader Bola Tinubu has reacted to the open letter former president Olusegun Obasanjo wrote to President Muhammadu Buhari, Punch reports.

Obasanjo, in the letter, had urged Buhari to dump any second term ambition.

Tinubu, in an interview with journalists when he visited Governor Rochas Okorocha alongside pioneer National Chairman of APC, Bisi Akande, at the Government House Owerri, on Friday, said he thinks Obasanjo was “playing politics with the public letter”.

If tinubu thinks he can single handedly muster enough support for buhari then he must be living in a fool's paradise. Right now the best thing for any sensible politician is to dump buhari and align with the masses feelings and yearnings and that is what obj has done . If he doesn't take care even in his south west base ,politicians that dump buhari will take over his strong base. The truth is right now buhari has failed,ppl are suffering and they want a change
