DejiSantos:At independence , Nigerians negotiated a truly federal structure based on the regions that came together to form nigeria. Ironically, it was the north that insisted on the federal structure of nigeria to be strictly respected in the new country to be called 'nigeria'. Then some people came and dismantled our agreement for unity of nigeria and replaced it with the current dubious structure just to steal from other regions Everyone agrees nigeria should be a united country under the federal structure agreed by everyone at independence. Not the present army arrangement where some people use the military to steal resources of other regions and still yell 'one nigeria' what does that mean? |
