The best way i send money is through person to person. If i want to send money to Naija and i see someone that wants to send money to US, we both agree on xchange rate. Naira is wired to my account in naija, while i deposit or give dollars to the receiver in US. So, try look for friends in US that you trust can do such deal with you.

Why not you walk into a bank near you and get reliable information from the people that it is there job instead of all the half-baked information.

Buy bitcoin with naira and send it to your recipient's bitcoin wallet. You will be buying at black market rate, however.

I use GTB domiciliary account to send money abroad. $100 to open the account. You have to buy dollars for bureau de change operators, pay into your account, then request GTB to activate online login access to enable you do Foreign exchange (FX) transfer.

Try the moneymailme app. It's free but you must have a bank account and ID to verify you though I have not tried it with naira account in Nigeria. I used it to send money to someone in Dublin through my bank account abroad

The problem is most of those wire and deposits by friends based in the USA are mostly proceeds from Crime and very often gives the receiving accounts problem in future .
Your best bet is to source fund from Aboki and fund your Domiciliary account .

Ask your bank if they have visa or master travelers card that can withdraw money from any master or visa supported atm machine then get it send it to the person , all you need is each time you will send money you'll go and load the card from the bank . I am currently using one.
