Royalties in the Nigerian music industry are
rare, not all those who are celebrated can
boldly claim to belong to the royal family which
reserves the title of King and Queen for the
most celebrated male artiste and his female
counterpart, respectively. Several other titles have been shared among the many artistes in the industry but the title of King and Queen of Nigerian music has been repeatedly and almost without a challenge, conferred on Wizkid and Tiwa Savage respectively.
