This started earlier this week as I tried logging into my Facebook. It kept telling me wrong password when I insert my supposed password. The worst is that when I click on password recovery, it wud tell me that a code has been sent to my email, but the email that it was sent to is not mine. Because they would just the beginning and the end part of the email is seen the other was asterisked.
To be sincere, I don't know my email used in opening the account even the password this is because I'm always on automatic login in my phone,
I have really tried many alternatives like reinstalling the app, I don't get the codes as it is always sent to the hacked email.

Pls help, tech gurus I don't want to loose my friends on Facebook.

use Facebook lite to recover password. Remember to select recover by identifying some of your friends.

I just downloaded Facebook lite but didn't see identify with friends. I'm still seeing the same thing, a different phone number

You need to give a clearer picture here if you really need help:

1. What platform where you using to log in before, like browser or app and why did it start asking for a password when you usually login with auto login?

2. If you can answer no. 1 you are very close to getting it back...

Facebook app, it started by telling me my login session has expired that I should re-login. That's when the problem started. All the password, phone number and email address I've ever used in my life I've tried but they all proved futile.
