my own opera mini doesn't crash oo.. I've opened goal.com on it 3 times today (the first time I'm even opening it) and no crash... and the number of times I get to see ads is like 3 times a day..I think it's still cool

i downloaded the latest version i later deleted it, and go back to the old version 7.5

the problem am having is that i can't download image on it

Are you sure you are on the latest version of Opera Mini.. If not you better stick to the old one you are using...
I just access goal.com just now.. Check the time of my screenshot.. It just load half-way then crash..

You should always back up your assertions with enough research data. I won't blame you though because from a distance, your assertion may seem correct not until you bring research and data into the picture.

When it comes to share of browsers on mobile, Opera [mini] still leads. More people in Nigeria use opera than any other browser.

The Nigerian cyberspace does not end on your [or my] mobile phone.

I have attached screenshots of a national campaign I am presently running and a research report from a reputable digital platform. You will find Opera occupying the prestigious 1st position with 49% market share while your Chrome comes a distant second.

∆ Thank You very much for the stat. Operamini is the best lite browser you can ever use. I'm quite scared by the way people are shying away from the fact they use operamini. I use operamini a lot. Though I prefer Yandex browser but Yandex consumes a lot of data.
Only that ads is making it annoying.

Maybe you need to go back to the post, read carefully and digest my point.. I have never claimed Opera isnt currently the most used browser neither did I say Chrome is leading in anyway..

What i said was that Opera Mini users are now getting frustrated with the numerous ads on the app and also the frequent crashes of some web pages while using the app
And you want fact for this right..
1) This post is a fact on its own, read through people's comments

I use m.goal.com/x/en to open goal, I don't ha problems with Opera mini. It's what am using now and have been using since I know what browser is.

HI guys.. I think I found a solution to stop the annoying ads but requires a lil bit techie knowledge..
I just disable ads in the latest operamini via LuckPatcher
.
Opera now working fine with no ads
Note. Your phone must be rooted to use LuckPatcher .

Some people asking if people still use Opera mini don't know that its a browser to reckon with any day. I just hope its rectified cos it's been my number one browser for years but there are other stand-out browsers too.

Just download an old apk of an earlier version that won't crash. I downloaded opera Mini on my phone maybe for 20mins, it came with phone lock screen widget. They're a bit too extra for me. I use Chrome

Exactly..! Even as frustrated as I am, I created this topic and also replying now via Opera Mini,, just too good to be jilted.. Never seen any other browsers that can match its quality..

1) Reverse to the old version before the ads
2) Disable ads via LuckPatcher

pls direct me to any browser that can show rss feeds at the top of the web page.
This me to aggregate all feeds in one place.
I have notice all this in Opera mini and I have searched for any browser that does this without any luck.

I use opera mini a lot. Especially the save page which is very fast, easy and cost no extra mb.

Sadly the ads is something else. You'll open a page thinking it's loading but all you'll get is ads.

I've searched again and again for a replacement but couldn't find any good option. Wonder why there's no opera UI browser just as we have uc based on chrome.

Anyways I'm currently trying out cm browser. That's what I'm using to type this. It's quite fast
