Hello, my name is Etom, a part-time web developer (hobby) and a Public Health student at the University of Calabar, Calabar, (UNICAL). I recently developed an application i called SchoolDMS, or School Database Management System. It's an application that allows any school to easily generate their website within 5 minutes! And i mean it!

Built with the powerful Codeigniter PHP Framework, i took my time to add most of the features that a typical higher institution website will need such as:

1. News feature for publishing news on the site.
.
2. And admin of the school portal can add and manage staff.
.
3. Ability to create pages such as About us, our mission, the VC/Provost
.
4. A powerful feedbacks system to enable the portal admin gather feedbacks from students and guests of the site.
.
5. A post feature for publishing stuff like fee payment, board of trustees, board of directors, etc.
.
6. An admin can add departments and faculties to enable potential students know what courses are available,

Other feaures include:

Powerful contact form for visitors to contact the school admin.
.
An admin can add unlimited roles and assign staff to a role.
.
And admin can view and delete staff or edit the staff data.
.
Beautiful web URLs for easy remembrance and search engine friendliness. E.g. www.sitename.com/feedback/send which takes the user to the contact form.

An easy and user friendly installer. The downloaded script can be installed by simply pointing the brower to www.yourwebroot/index.php/install

I have not actually implemented more of the features i thought of due to my time and other engagemements in school.

This is why i need experienced PHP OOP developers to join me an make the script more robust. Or to make the script semi-open source so that whoever needs extra features out of the ones listed above will pay the team to get it developed.
