Hello my people, it is common knowledge that palm wine AKA palmie (palmy or tombo) is a popular drink in Nigeria. It is produced from raffia palm or oil palm trees. Aside recent bottling by FIIRO, palm wine is mostly consumed fresh without any preservation. On the other hand, we have many other wines e.g red and white wines produced from fruits or constituted from fruit concentrates and ethanol. I am curious to know what wines are produced here in Nigeria aside our beloved palm wine. When I mean wine, it must possess an alcoholic content of at least 5% ABV(Alcohol by volume). I need to know the names of such wines and possibly the name of the company producing them. Thank you as you help us appreciate our products. |

DUNKA:Thank you! A quick search shows that goskolo is highly demonized. I tried to see what it is, and from my little search, it is same as kaikai alias ogogoro. Right? |
