Is this country satanically bent on punishing and maltreating her subjects (citizens)? How could a government be so insensitive be still holding volunteers' money till now?

What do they think they will be eating? This is so pathetic! Maybe a technical issues as they usually put forward.

It's so pathetic. Calling this country a shithole is an understatement in my opinion.social investment program that cater for 500k youths can't be managed. Imagine 2017 volunteers completed their screening since December but final list hasn't been released uptill now. Fuel scarcity still persist since December and nothing has been done about it. Forget seeing fuel station opening for bizness in major city like lagos , abuja n pH. Here in Suleja that has depot, black market where a litre being sold #250 is the other of the day. The truth is that as much as I respect PMB, governance has overwhelmed him. The man simple lack the capacity to lead Nigeria out of this numerous problem. Though I'm aware governance is quite complicated but the bulks stop at his table n no matter his good intention, things are getting worse day by day n his silence is not even helping matters. Apart from statements being issued irregularly by these media aids Adesina n Garba. We hardly see our President addressing us directly. Walk the street and see the faces of Nigerians n you will realize situation has never been this bad. life tire us wallahi

A country that finds it difficult to pay volunteers' stipend whose names are electronically synchronized, hence payment into their accounts should not be difficult. Or are they paying them by hands? Nonsense!!!

Silence sometimes might simply mean wicked the problem is none of them either the Npower officials or the office of the VP who in turn is the person in charge of all the SIP in the country everyone just kept mute as if they don't know.

Some people I think are taking advantage of this'd programme.no doubt about it the 500 billion naira is on ground since its inception but why?

I am not one of Npower Volunteers but I have a sister who always lean on me financially anytime her money is not paid in time. So count me out of being a volunteer.

I write on behalf of my sister not that I am doing Npower programme.

Better yet, let's assume the money was delayed, just like the times salaries of civil servants were and would most times be, just like corpers had to wait for two months without getting paid- we all know the govt will definitely pay...

The delay may be technical or even the usual case of corruption. But this doesn't warrant you call the country a shithole or other deplorable names just because ur stipend got delayed.

Funny enough, you get paid by these same govt.


My advice- As you know, your appointment as an Npower volunteer would be terminated as agreed this year, you better find something better to do.

Your mates has been selected for YouWin, others have used the money to re-enroll for further education, dey there dey curse the govt. Your eyes go soon clear!

I can see clearly that you don't have sense, the Nigerian government has suffered you to the extent that you think delaying of salary or stipends of workers is normal and not a criminal and big failure on the part of the government! So speaking of youwin if you have sense you would know that not everybody can get you win even if the whole youths are qualified some people will be dropped either because of their health or physical challenges!! I have people that work for me , weda its stipend or wages or whatever, i don't owe them, the bottom line is always pay your workers at the right time and if you don't ,you re an asshole or a shit hole !!
