I'm more clueless than our leaders are about Nigerian problems. I can't assess my student portal due to password mismatch. Nobody to help address that. Unilag site is shut down as well. Can't pay for convocation & certificate. My ID card is missing since. I'm going to need it during certificate clearance & at Nysc camp

this has nothing to Do with the Fg.. Its the school itself that's cheating the Nasu staffs.... They have collected their own allowance and have refused to fully pay the none Academics their share......... Just because this people are mostly cleaners and the rest doesn't mean they should be treated as trash.... The Unilag ASUU are selfish and bunch of thieves... Before the strike started, I over heard some lecturers talking about the amount each was paid from the money Fg gave to the school, I heard one man said he was credited with N500k and that them never even pay am finish... Can you imagine someone collecting N500k and still complaining of balance when those that are doing the hardest and the dirty work never get shishi......... This isn't about Fg na school problem be this.. And the academic staffs are trying to ride on the none academics by taking the money for themselves...

Oga make your findings well. its not only unilag that's affected.how will they give one lecturer 500k. D'you know how many lecturers unilag has? then how many universities under ASUU? how much di fb give them?to

ASUU isn't on strike.nasu is.and it's a nationwide strike, not unilag alone

Baba fear God now!!! If you don't know, why not ask? Well, sir, Unilag nasu was never on strike before the national industrial action. The strike began in December along side the umbrella body. As a matter of fact, there is not internal crisis at all among the unions against the management.

For clarity, read this. The unions cleared the air.

Baba, you're completely uninformed. JAC which includes NASU, NAAT and senior staff members are not cleaners. Unilag cleaners are hired from a company, Mr Wash and some other ones other to maintain the cleanliness of the school. The members of JAC are those in charge of administration e.g health, record and data, transcripts, verification of certificate, CITS, laboratories, CIPUL and any other important task of campus.

Unilag didn't share the money, ASUU national body did. They took 89% of the fun and left 11% for JAC. Unilag only got 130 million of the entire sum while schools like UI got 300 million plus. The unions have no issue at all with unilag at all. Uniben, UI, and every other chapter of JAC is also actively involved in the strike.

See http://thenationonlineng.net/unilag-vc-appeals-to-protesting-unions-to-embrace-peace/amp/ and be informed
