I find no problem with the responses. I'm a firm believer that Nigeria should restructure, and regions should be free to make their own laws.

If CSOs feel the state law impinges on the constitution, they're free to battle it out in court. If it doesn't they should accept it in good faith and if they really are into it, do a tit for tat in their native regions. The Yorubas have the best universities in the country. It is a comparative advantage. If they choose to exploit it, I'm sure they explored the consequences and bit the bullet.

The Akwa Ibom seaport project is on. The Edo seaport is on. It is only on NL you find SE complain that the SS ports are not competitive, in the real world they're doing fairly nothing about it, after all they still make profits when they import through Lagos. They should stop complaining and start acting. If SE businessmen really want the SS ports to be competitive, it'd only take 3 years to make it happen. 3 YEARS!so they expecting Ambode to secede oil companies to their states abi?ok waiting. if they don stop kidnapping, armed rubbery etc, no inestor will smell thier state .

Ambode does not have to secede anything. It is not his choice to make

Companies go where their interests align. Shell is in Warri, ExxonMobil is in Akwa Ibom, Eni is in Port Harcourt. They and many other oil companies have other administrative offices and headquarters in the Lagos.

Osinbajo ordered the relocation of headquarters in March last year. Kachiku is currently negotiating with the IOCs. We don't do long stories in the SS. If we can get NDDC and Ministry of ND, relocation of headquarters is not an issue.

Lagos is commercially viable, so even if the HQs relocate, they'd be fine. It's only that the Tinubu cartel will increase taxes to cover the shortfall.

The point is, relocation of HQ and the no man's land issues are mutually exclusive. Whether Ambode reverses the recent law or not, the HQ relocation will happen.
