There are many Kano or Anambra indigenes in
Lagos state that speak Yoruba language fluently and can easily have a credit or even A in Yoruba language.
For those that don't speak presently, they can learn it within 6months.
For those that don't want to learn it, they can apply to UNILAG, Yaba Tech or private universities.
Imo State and Anambra States have passed similar laws few years ago.

English or other European languages are NOT superior to our indigenous languages.
If Samuel Ajayi Crowther can translate the Holy Bible to Yoruba and Igbo languages which were used to teach Christianity to generations of Christians for over 100 years, there is no reason why a team of experts/scholars can't translate New School Chemistry by Ababio , Modern Biology, Gray's Anatomy, Harper's Medical Biochemistry etc to Yoruba language which can be used concurrently with the English versions for teaching and academic purposes.
There is no great country that despise its own indigenous language.

No, Yoruba will not be taught as part of a GS course in any tertiary institution, owned by Lagos state. Please go back and read that law again. A credit pass in the language at SSCE or NECO, is required for admission into any tertiary educational institution, owned by the state. And those institutions are less than 6. This is unlike Anambra, where Igbo is a mandatory part of any GS course, taught within their tertiary institutions.
