That's not true you know. Sometimes, it's you guys that are the problem. I met my very first love in 2012. He was dead broke. . . I was naive then. Dude loved soccer and always went for training in the field. I would follow him, stay till he is done and would even help carry his kit home. I remember how I would sneak foodstuff from the house and give to him cos he was staying with his elder brother who didn't drop cash with him for food. I remember how I broke my safe and gave him all I had saved for him to buy a football boot he really liked. His friends called me his wife...i thought I had found true love so I even let him have my virginity. Then things changed when he travelled abroad after getting signed into foreign club in Turkey. He came back after 2 years and didn't even bother to check on me. It was his friend who told me he was around. I went to see for myself and found him in the hotel drinking and smoking with his friends and some call girls. He later told me he couldn't hang out with me no more cos I wasn't his class. It's all good. Sometimes you guys are the problem seriously. There are good guys out there tho as well as there are good girls. Its just that people change not just because they want to but because they were driven to change.

This story caught me. That you gave the whole narration without using any obscenity on him shows how mature you are. I hope you have found a man worthy of your love?

I don't need to abuse him. Why should I? I was only glad that I did all I could for him. Funny enough, he called me last December telling me how much he misses me and all and would like us to re-unite... Told him I was too busy with my studies. As for your question...my books are my love for now. Even if I decide to date a guy now, it would be just for the fun of it without huge expectations cos when you love too much, u hope too much and when you don't get the much you hoped for, you'll hurt too much.

Wisdom indeed increases with age and it is written all over your post. Now that you have come of age, you have realized how much damage expectation does to our relationships. And when we expect nothing or feel anyone owes us anything, we live an easier life. Which school are you in?
