True, but I believe you should let interested parties know about the history of a vehicle you advertise. You don't have to post old photos or anything, just indicate if it was in an accident and fixed, and indicate the current mileage with a current photo of the odometer displaying the mileage.

That would go a long way to reassure your buyers.

Altering an odometer is a serious offence in sane climes.

It's criminal to roll back odometers!! It makes maintenance of such vehicles a nightmare. WTH??
