Not bad in Kenyan military as the govt reviews them every four years. Most Kenyan youths want to join the military I think. But we are not so militaristic untill recently. They get paid sth like this (1 USD = 100 Ksh)

Higher personals get between 4000-7000 Birr ($148-$259). But their house, car, light, water, telephone and repair are mostly covered by the government. Some of them also participate in corruption and live a good life.

Yeah indeed. Most of the corruptions in the military are made by middle and higher military personnel. Most ordinary soldiers don't.

Desalegn resignation was the right thing. He himself said it was the best choice.
