*Press the Windows Key + R
*Type gpedit.msc and Click OK
*Open Local Group Policy Editor
*Browse the following path: Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Updates
*On the Right Side, double click the[b] Configure Automatic Updates Policy[/b]
*On the left side, Check the Enable option to enable the policy
*Choose the preffered mode under option and click Apply, then OK.

IT IS EASIER TO CLICK DISABLE because you wont have to worry about anything.... clicking enable does not give an option to stop anything.

There is a new update windows update which actually tries to update the windows version called "Windows 10 update assistant". This update will never stop with the method stated above. It downloads the update file and creates a folder in the root of drive C called "Windows10Upgrade". It's annoying because everytime you try to kill the process and stop the update, it will keep popping trying to perform the update. Disabling the process from task scheduler and stopping inbound and outbound connection for the app is the only hope.
