Nigerians React To Buhari’s “how Are Your Cattle Rearers?” by oluwafemme129(op): 2:15pm On Feb 23, 2018
A video has been circulating on social media showing President Muhammadu Buhari giving a handshake to Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom.

In the video recorded during the Council of State meeting, the president can be heard asking the governor, “How are your cattle rearers?” a question people have described as mocking.

The question has been said to be in reference to the herdsmen killings ongoing in Benue State.

Nigerians have been reacting on social media, with some complimenting the president’s sense of humour, while others have condemned him, calling him insensitive.

He is also seen in the video joking with Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai over the demolition of the secretariat of an All Progressives Congress (APC) faction that suspended the governor.

its also condescending and an insult to the collective intelligence of the entire people of Benue, people have died many are IDPs as we speak,we have totally forgotten about the fact that over 3000 people were murdered in Agatu and hundreds have been displaced for the President to make a joke out of that is the height of insensitivity..... probably when he meets Gaidam he would ask him how his "girls" are.?

I can still remember the 7 point agenda and vision 2020 of late Yaradua. Gej came with the transformation agenda. Every political leader has goals and vision. Can someone please tell me the agenda of President Buhari because I haven't seen or heard of any.

A leader without vision, a leader without agenda. There was a country!
