Why not consider charging it with another charger.

Download lg suite and connect ur fone with strong Internet. U can run update or download kdz of ur device with the desire version and use lg 2004 tools to flash it

G4 is nice but it's too open to bootloop issues.

I for one will advice u to go for g3 or g5.
