Everyone knew Tinubu did not take the job with good intentions. He knew the trap. Refusal would have been very stupid. Accepting it would allow him play the statesman without really doing anything. But as for his current "peacemaker" role, he thought the one immediate benefit would be to take down Oyegun. He has failed there. The NWC extension nails it all for Tinubu strategy because if the assignment given to him do not succeed which albinition he never wanted to successful.

My advise is for the onlooker to see through the tiny needle hole and see the secret of the cheese played by the SW politician.

Worst case scenario they will align with any group they wanted and note majority population in North central is not for Buhari and if Tinubu aligns with the party or group these guys flows with his own south west base.

PDP and Tinubu are parallel lines, they CAN NEVER meet. So stop dreaming. If anything, the SS/SE will take any opportunity to DEAL ruthlessly with SW and Tinubu for leading Nigeria to Golgotha. Remember the PDP convention, that is just a tip of the venom that SW would get.

I can tell you with all confidence that SW had been buried in APC and the PDP will never let them in. It is not bad to go astray; what is bad is failing to own up and pretend as if everything is OK. The only option left is for SW to pull out of APC, reform ACN and humbly rejoin their Southern brothers. Most of those commenting seems not to understand politics.tinubu would likely be the one that moved that tenure extension for his own interest.politicians can change their minds within minutes if you have played the game.all this is a smokescreen.tinubu has lost nothing,hes even got richer which is his major aim.he knew he was never going to control buhari so getting some vital appointments were okay.saraki never defeated him,i dont see what hes going to gain from installing a senate president.tinubu and buhari can never join pdp,they will rather die than do that.tinubu regrets nothing,apc is not sinkinh it is pdp that is sinking and will never rule nigeria.
