I think it will be hybrid, because it is not n individual slot.
As the slot for the phone is closely hinged to the second sim

Sim 2 is your hybrid sim slot (takes SD card or sim card)........

Hi. Just got the phone from Jumia and testing it since I still have my 7 days return policy. Has anyone noticed these problems?
1. Occasionally while charging and using, touch screen might go haywire and start going off on its own.
2. Also while charging, screen brightness at times fluctuates just a bit in terms of brightness.
I need an urgent reply so I can see if it's the particular product so I can do a swap for another ht50.

I got the phone two days ago. I don't really have any issues with it. But I play this online game, marvel contest of champions and it's not as smooth as I expected. Although that could be because the game bumped up their graphics quality on Android phones

May be yours is faulty, have you ever browse on 3g phones like htc, Samsung and iphone. The phone will look warm slightly..
And it is normal.. Nothing like hot may be yours is faulty

I tried using SD card in my ht50 and itz nt working...but the slot works for sim card perfectly.. Pls guys advice me.. Is it d phone dat is defective or what because all d sd cards i tested on it r gud nd solid.. Help o

I think the network in ur area is bad.. If u get to a place whr network is gud and solid.. It won't fluctuate

U cant use sim2 together with sd card... U either use sim or memory card.
I just removed my sim2 now and inserted mmc and it works

Agreed because I was earlier using glo line but it became stable with mtn line, thanks.

That's normal u can change ur prefer to 4g, 3g or 2g network with the help of mtk enginner. Doesn't require rooting

Go ahead if you have not rooted the phone, but if you have rooted it DON'T UPDATE.

No you don't need any apps to root it, check the web for twrp for homtom ht50, flash it using sptool, go to xda, download magisk zip and flash for systemless rooting, you will be glad you did.
