Good job the nmu team , what of those that have not gotten the text ...is the texts coming in badges? Also pls I cannot see faculty of sciences , they did not get approval from NUC .. LIKE me I applied in the dept. Of computer science ... Tanx ..waiting for reply

Please I applied for graduate assistant in Civil engineering department and I'm yet to receive SMS for the interview, any info on this?

Pls, apart from sms, emails should be used as we know some sms may not be delivered due to network issues.
Also, I think the notice is rather short even though I'm yet to get any sms.

I applied in the department of physics

Please apart from sms, email should be used as well because some of us are yet to receive the invite maybe because of DND on our line.

Please, are they sending the invite in batches or everyone that will be interviewed has been sent the invitation SMS already. Just curious to know cos I and a couple of friends with background in Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are yet to get the invitation SMS.

It would be great if he clarified the text invite pattern, if it's happening by departments or other means. I submitted for 2 persons, chemistry and computer science department. The chemistry received his even though the one with the computer science degree is more qualified.

Why don't they advertised vacancies for non academic positions?

I will appreciate it if they can explain it clearly about the modality of sending the message, if it faculty by faculty or department by department?

Exactly my thoughts. The NMU rep. should update us so that we know what's actually going on. Interviews of this sort sometimes take days because different departments will be scheduled for different days but it seems it's only on Thursday that has been slated thus far and I'm just wondering the possibility of interviewing everyone in just a day considering the location of the school. We are waiting for their message cos we spent 2 hrs 30 min on water travelling to that place. Lol

But there should also be provision for mail, since NMU is aware that some applicants didn't get the text invite.
