if its based on lifetime achievement and who is more successful, why are you not listing Rooney in the team? I doubt any current active PL player is more succesful or has won as much as him.

Pierre Littbarski was not average he was above average and any above average German should be better than elite ENglish by default just like an average Brazilian footballer is better than an elite Swedish player.
