l say this because l saw an interview, where a Tanzanian TV presenter interviewed a Nigerian guy from Calabar, she argued that he doesn't have the Nigerian accent, l have also seen some of such interviews, it seems foreigners believe there's a specific Nigerian accent.
For example Buhari's accent may not be thesame as Mike Adenuga's accent which may not be thesame as Bobrisky's accent etc.
Compare Buhari's accent to that of Obasanjo for instance, are they same kind of accents?

There is a particular and very specific accent that people associate with Nigeria and I swear apart from being plain annoying its funny as hell. Maybe its from a certain region of your country that is more globally renown possibly Igbo or Yoruba. It has this use of the sound 'O' in almost all words. Its just the same way South Africans are known for 'exxent' (accent lol) kind of speak but many of them talk differently. The Naija accent Im talking of is this one below from Obasanjo.

That comment wasnt trolling anyone. If you check, the guy was already gone as I had already responded to him and posted another story. At that moment, I saw a news feature of human smugglers in Edo telling women they need to carry condoms as part of payment for the journey to Libya. Thats what prompted me.

It was a workshop. We also used the opportunity to visit some places. I think Kenyan s are cool headed, more civilised and very contented. I will attribute it to total assimilation of the British culture in everything they do. They are direct opposite of Nigerian s , which are more aggressive, more energetic and always in a hurry. Nice observation. But why attribute it to British assimilation? What if thats the natural character of Kenyans? I doubt you could attribute it to hot weather because Kenyans from hot weather areas like the coast are the exact opposite of other Kenyans. They are less aggressive and less energetic. I think Nigerians have been forced to be that way by of the competition for resources brought about by the large population.

Religion doesnt play a significant role compared to tribe in Kenyan politics. But the vast majority are Christians (>80 %). Yes you risk a 4 year jail term if you carry a polyethene bag in Kenya even in the rural areas so no one takes the risk. You should leave any plastic bags you have at the airport or get into serious trouble. Im glad you loved our streets. That implies the photos here are a reflection of reality Finally you can make a determination on the truthfulness of the thread after seeing with your own two eyes. At the very least you can now prove the doubting Nigerian Thomas's that there trash talk should be limited within their villages. The loudest negative Nigerians commenting here are the usual typical villagers whose furthest journey was the nearest town centre.
