Secondly, lets even state that these teachers are some fcking Rambos who take delight in taking part in Die Hard 8, how effective do you think they would be?

According to statistical data, even police officers who fire their firearm during duty at a non-firing target have less than 35% hit rate.

Talkless of those that are firing their firearm on duty in a gunfight who have about 18% hit rate.

What a screed for gun control. It's seven years later, how far? The PEOPLE of the USA are still armed and fulfilling the intent of the 2nd Amendment -

"A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

There's some particularly ironic lines of argument that show a basic misunderstanding of that intent or at least a careless attitude about human nature.

Simple reason - the government knows the people are armed, with VOTES and GUNS. So the government takes care not to blatantly oppress them. Quite a contrast to Nigeria. Yes the government will win a conflict....but at what cost in blood and political stability?

Remember how Buhari didn't chase down and arrest Tompolo? Because Tompolo is armed. But Abacha killed the peaceful Saro Wiwa like a chicken.

It's the same reason home invasions occur less in the USA than in Nigeria...the armed robbers know there's a chance the home owner is armed.

In Switzerland, every adult male by law is armed. They must have and own a military weapon. How come they're not killing each other?

In Nigeria guns are highly regulated yet whole villages are wiped out by organized gunmen.

Compare the murder rates of certain parts and populations of the USA and think 🤔 Does Iowa have the same rate of gun violence as South Carolina? I don't know but I know how I would bet.
