Have you ever suffered from asthma before? What kind of first aid would the crew have given her, even if they had first aid training? When asthma patient is suffering an attack, and his/her inhaler has failed to work, he or she needs to be rushed to a hospital, and his case treated as a medical emergency.

I love being a knight in shining armour to ladies having asthma attacks only because of the above stated reason.
And realizing that I'd get to unhook their bra and massage their chest region.

A woman's life was reportedly saved after suffering from a medical condition aboard a flight from Lagos to Kano. Report has it that the woman had a life threatening asthma attack which probably caused panic on board the plane.

The cabin crew asked if there was any doctor present in a bid to treat the woman.

Dr Fakhruddeen Yahaya, the personal physician to the governor of Kano state, Umar Ganduje was present as he identified himself and immediately stabilized the woman.

Most likely the doctor had. emergency medications with him or it made available by the airline otherwise there is not much you can do for a patient with life threatening asthma in such circumstances. Maybe INo2, sha that will be readily available in the cabin. The woman was really lucky.

i doubt the crew would be able to handle life threatening asthma. Even with first aid training. It's a serious emergency that may sometimes even require ICU care if it fails to respond to medications.
