Does this mean Nigeria has military /para military at her embassies too?

Depends on her threat assessment at the particular embassy

They forces r not posted where there is no trouble expected, only if there is Intel regarding the same only then they r deployed. It is rare.

Generally Security is provided by internal embassy personals and outer perimeter (outside the embassy boundaries) by the host country

Latest news IAF has given written commitment for initial procurement of 201 LCA MK2 , this is in addition to 123 LCA MK1A ( first 20 LCA MK1 will be upgraded to MK1A during MLU)

So total LCA = 324 and more as per needs

And best news definitive engine is going to be indian with core from M88 but the French will have no veto right over it if India chooses to sell it.

Price depends on many factors becz u will have to include the development cost, but when u have a large order and long production run then price decreases significantly.

Imo Mk2 version will cost close to 60 million becz of the electronics and sensors , the sensors will be based on Rafale and under development AMCA tech.

Visually it looks like mirage by in aeronautical terms they r different

Mirage 2000 is pure delta design, LCA is a cropped compound delta design, the front section acts as a canard but is fixed

Mirage 2000 wing is flat with respect to horizontal axis, LCA wings r anhedral which gives better performance at low speeds.

Mirage 2000 sports strakes for some additional lift , LCA uses cranked wings for much better lift.

Mirage 2000 air inlet is behind the fuselage, LCA inlet is under the wing

Mirage 2000 uses inlet cone while LCA utilises Y shaped ducts to avoid radar reflection.

Etc

I'll like an honest and unbiased opinion on what's the best fighter jet between the PAC JF-17 Thunder and the Indian LCA in terms of WVR combat.

Frumentum:

All 3 of us can trade with China and Russia but have no business developing a political group with such dictatorships.

Meh... half the country sneers at Russia/China, the other half at the West.

At this point, the only question is who offers the greatest benefit - and by benefit I mean economic, nothing else.

No benefit? No bueno! An isolationist and pragmatic approach would be best for us, a foreign policy of "not in Africa, not our concern"

drdo has drawn up future plans for the design and development of a tracked UCGV in a progressive manner through three phases The first two phases will develop a UCGV on the existing BMP-II tracked vehicles. The weapons systems shall include a Remote Controlled Weapons Station (RCWS), a soft kill Active Protection System (APS) and a medium power Directed Energy Weapon (DEW) system.

A new high speed tracked vehicle platform shall be specifically developed for the new UCGV in the third phase. In addition to the RCWS with enhanced fire power, this new UCGV is expected to have a hard kill APS, high power DEW, SAMs, attitude control system and active camouflage.
