Did Awo put a gun to Ojukwu's head and forced him to go to war?? Y'all need to grow up lest all that hate you habour consume you. Showing selective pics of rural roads in Osun isn't gonna cut it. Awka isn't even seeing half of the level of infrastructural development that Osun is so you can keep deceiving yourself, ok? If that's the best you can show of Awka, then it's nothing compared to the ones below from Oshogbo. It's unfortunate that it is Osun state that is giving you folks nightmares over there. So sad indeed.

The Great Awolowo, there can never be anyone like him. If not for Awolowo my dad would be an illiterate, his free education was a blessing to poor folks.

The man did great for his time. Simply because nobody has done anything close since.

But he, Zik of Africa, Enahoro and others had the chance to let the North go and create a progressive country in the South. The North were even reluctant to remain with the South.

However, even in my lifetime, religion & ethnicity were not such terrible issues as they are now. So maybe they thought things would get better as we get better educated and develop with our massive resources & potential.

Sadly they were way too optimistic. Other things that followed especially the civil war that has polarised the country till now, blame game over who allegedly betrayed whom, all resulted from that misjudgement.
