This election reordering is shooting one's self in the foot for the lawmakers or am I missing something?

I know a lot of lawmakers who won their election as a bandwagon effect of buhari in 2015. Many of them were not even known in many areas where they won election and they didn't even campaign. They only won based on Buhari's popularity in that election.

Reordering the election would expose many of them.
