I had created a new US account then for the purpose. They asked me for Facebook profile, LinkedIn ID etc. Many months later, I got a mail from them that my request was not processed. Their reason was that they had stopped processing applications for pro in my niche at the time I sent in my application. They said they would keep in touch with me whenever they start accepting new applications.

I am beginning to doubt this Fidelity rate. I went to a Fidelity bank around my location and I could not withdraw #20k. The max I could withdraw was #10k. If a bank can be so callous as to reduce its maximum withdrawal for other banks to #10k, I am beginning to wonder how their exchange rate will be any good. Also, I got thinking if she claims to withdraw $20k for $52.2. Subtract Payoneer's $3.15 per transaction, that means there rate is #407 per dollar. Now that is too good to be true for a bank in Nigeria, most especially a bank that is so broke it can't pay #20k at once to other bank cards.

Yes, risky. But I tried anyway. I created the account for the sole purpose. Though I have not been running the account due to time. I am concentrating on my main account.
And you know what? I was expecting to be deported after the whole encounter, but I wasn't. Yea, surprised. Even after the mass deportation yesterday, I checked again, and the dormant account was still sitting right there in Washington DC. Lol

Thank God for journey mercies, I arrived 9ja back yesterday in a first class section of Fiverr airline.

The phone number verification isn't the cause. I have friends who used Nigerian phone number and still wasn't deported. This was caused by a fluctuating/unstable IP location.

My colleagues are still selling with a US location and other people here on nairaland still sell with a US location.
