asunmoGGMU:I'm not arguing either... As u can see, I didn't mention only one location... He's really spending and developing abeokuta but that's not the only city in Ogun... That's my point... Abeokuta roads are very much okay but what about other towns? Are they not useful? They don't pay tax? They don't add to state's income? 2 Likes |

Is any model school working in Ogun State out of all the ones he's been building for 7years.? Ogun State is blessed with a very useless governor. No single completed project outside Abeokuta, yet he'll be boasting as one of the States with very highest IGR.. 1 Like |

harmbhrosz: Your post shows that your entire knowledge of Ogun State, is limited to Sagamu and Abeokuta. There are over 20 local government areas in Ogun state from Ewekoro, to Ifo, Ikpokia, Odogbolu, Ogun waterside, etc. Out of the 20 local govt areas, Amosun has only provided infrastructure in less than 5, and you feel he is an excellent performer? Is 5 out of 20 considered a pass mark, in your view? Why are you people so satisfied with mediocrity in that axis? Like I asked you before: "Did people from other local govt areas NOT vote for Amosun in the last election? So why has he deprived them of good infrastructure?" You have stylishly dodged this question, and refused to answer it. If he decided to construct one major road in each local govt area, would it not make more sense, and ensure development is spread more evenly across the state? Or in your own view, Ogun state begins and ends in Sagamu and Abeokuta? Now, if you are self-employed but do not pay taxes, then you are one of the people spoiling this country. Being self-employed does not give you an excuse, to avoid taxes. I know several self-employed people that pay taxes at all levels of their operation. From VAT on their inputs and finished products, to Withholding tax (WHT) on their services, as well as PAYE on their staff salaries, they do pay tax. So if you are one of the defaulters, do not judge others through your warped lens of non-compliance, please! Everyone is not the same. Like I said before, the 4 trillion naira that FIRS collected as taxes last year, did not come from ghosts or spirits, o! It came from fellow Nigerians, like you and I. Go and check! In 2016, Ogun state government recorded the third highest internally generated revenue (IGR), among the 36 states, following after Lagos and Rivers State. Part of that IGR was generated from taxes. Those taxes were not paid by aliens or ghosts.....so stop generalising. Ogun state government has been rated as the state with the third highest internally generated revenue (IGR), among the 36 states in 2016. The state trails Lagos state which occupied the first position and Rivers state, in the second position. Ogun state in 2016, recorded an improved IGR of N 72, 983, 120, 003:85k. The breakdown of the IGR include N24.2 billion from Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE), N1.8 billion from direct taxes, N364 million from road taxes, as well as, N6.43 billion from other taxes and N4, 218, 549, 061 from other revenue. http://www.rockcityfmradio.com/ogun-state-records-third-highest-igr-among-36-states-2016/ 1 Like |

LaudableXX:wait before nko, am I not suppose to speak for the places I'm familiar with? Am I suppose to visit the 20 LG areas before I can rate him? And what if they vote for him in the rest Local governments does that mean he has to compensate them with roads? Is road the only yardstick for your own good governance? Security and the rest are all excluded right? And please again, I'm giving my kudos to him on road constructions in my area, and if you're unfortunate to fall in the less concentrated areas then the civil thing for you to do is leading a protest to his office in demand for your vote and tax right. One more question, does everyone in state has to agree with you that he's a bad governor? |

Re: Governor Amosun Inspects Sagamu-ogijo 22 Km Road (Photos) by LaudableXX: 12:20am On Mar 09, 2018 |
harmbhrosz: See the kind of myopic response you gave? So when an area votes a person into power as governor, and the roads in that area are dilapidated, he is NOT meant to fix it? So you see repairs of roads by a governor as a reward, instead of his civic duty which he is meant to perform, by virtue of his office? You just proved that you are synonymous with mediocrity. Go back to school, please. |

LaudableXX:hahahahahahaha but you've been salivating all over with how he should have built at least one road in each local government because he got vote from there na, if that isn't compensation then you need that school more than I do. I guess Buhari has built road in the whole 36states in Nigeria just as Obama built roads for the whole 50states in the USA. Now I finally got your reasoning, you know nothing about governance, so let it go |

Mr. Harmbhrosz the self-employed man that defaults on his taxes, and cannot recognise the fact that good governance includes fairness, equal representation and development, as well as accountability to the people? I no wan laugh too much this night, abeg! You, that believes Sagamu and Abeokuta is the beginning and end of Ogun state? You the same sycophant, that believes Nigerians do not pay taxes, yet the same Nigerians who do not pay taxes contributed tax of over 72 billion naira to Ogun state govt, in 2016? Abeg, just swerve!

LaudableXX:hahahaha l Oya lemme clear you up on the issue how Nigerians don't pay tax so you'll stop masturbating over it. I own 2 business centers where the gorvenment demand between 2000 to 3000 naira annually as tax which is too small hence I don't count that as tax (as stores in countries like Canada don't pay $10 annually as tax) which is why an individual owns 10 cars here in Nigeria. We're suppose to pay tax on every purchase we make that is higher than a particular amount as it's done in advance countries but that can't be done here coz we're not a serious nation and we don't keep records. Hope that satisfies your urge And where is my own ogun state suppose to start and end? In your sitting room? Lol Oh and please remind me the last time you protested for the killings in the north. meaning a south westerner's Nigeria starts and end in the south west. I hope your brain has the capability to fathom the above analogy. Bye and goodnight |

Re: Governor Amosun Inspects Sagamu-ogijo 22 Km Road (Photos) by LaudableXX: 1:42am On Mar 09, 2018 |
harmbhrosz: I have just shown you in black and white how much Ogun state made from tax for 2016 and 2017. 72 billion naira, is not small money. Those taxes did not come from ghosts. But for people like you, no matter how many times the truth is displayed before you, you would refuse to accept it and continue to wallow in falsehood. It is not my concern how many business centres you own. Nobody asked you for such details. If you do not pay your tax in Nigeria, you are a defaulter. You even had the guts to use Canada as an example, yet in Nigeria you are one of those who fail to file tax returns. and you are even trying to defend and justify your non-compliance, with the local tax laws. Can you see how crooked you are? You think demand notice is the only tax you should pay? Can you see how clueless you sound? So you have not heard of PAYE, WHT, VAT etc? Go to the local tax office in Sagamu, to declare your assets and income, and pay the proper tax. VAIDS scheme is even available, to make it easier for you. You can also file tax returns online. Get a Tax Identification Number or TIN, and follow the proper process. Many self-employed people have done so, so you have no excuse. Finally, this topic is about Ogun State so focus on that, and stop digressing like a rabbit. If you want to know the last time I protested about killings in the North, then kindly check through all my posts on NL. You will see the details right there, on other threads. Now stop whining, and go back to school to study what governance means. For the record, I never told you whether I was a Southerner or Northerner or Middle belter. So stop making unfounded assumptions. Assumption is the mother of all fvck ups. |

vosquare: Chief! You are already arguing cos you aren't responding to my simple poser. Who has performed better (in road construction) than him since the start of this republic? And again, did you complain about this during OGD's tenure when Abk was neglected? By the way, I want to state that you are making a valid point but don't let sentiment deride that. Because the way you started, people would think dude is doing nothing. It is, also, important to remind ourselves that govt is a continuum. When others come on board, let them face those areas you acknowledge. By that, our problems of bad roads will reduce. Amosun cant do everything. See, I am from Oyo state, and I believe Amosun seems to be one of the best (using road construction indices) in SW as bad as he is and as much as he has falters. |

From what you read all you saw about the analogy above is me assuming you're from a particular region, you opened your own very eyes to see me using south westerners as an example and I've automatically assumed you're from a region yet you keep advising me to go back to school, what an irony. I just knew your brain would not comprehend that. I should have left you when you said he should have compensated each local government with road because they voted for him, a man who wants a 2time governor to complete the entire roads in the state is not someone with sound reasoning. harmbhrosz:Guy, pls go and sit down. Come to Sagamu and see loads of bad roads. It's only Akarigbo 7km road that he dualised + flyover bridge in Sabo and since 2012, he has not finished it. No single projects in other Remo zone I.E Iperu, Ode, Ogere, Isara, Ipara, Ikenne and the likes. He's the best propagandist governor in South West. If a Gov like Aregbe has access to the kind of fund Ogun is controlling, you'll know what is called projects. Go to tiny Osun State and see construction of schools, roads, etc. It's your type that make useless governors to feel like great achiever. Pathetic. 1 Like |

Work just started on the road that leads from Sabo market to ode, work is also going on Sagamu-Sotubo-likosi-ogijo-odonguyan-ikorodu road. Area commander to Lafarge has long been completed. You people are just bitter because the egunje and cultism you were all dwelling in during Gbenga Daniel's era is no longer happening. You want him to do the only roads in Remote and another mofo up there is crying that he's only constructing roads in Remo and Egba alone, are you people not confused? That is the same flyover you just lied about! Shame on you 1 Like

harmbhrosz: You see, your remarks just confirmed that you left your brains behind on your pillow, when you decided to hit your keyboard. Each time, I ask you a question you refuse to answer it, and prefer to take refuge in banalities. Each time I offer you a piece of advice, you ignore it, and decide to behave like a comedian. Your actions are so pathetic. Go back and read y previous post again. Each of the local government areas in Ogun state, comprise of different communities. And each of those communities have several different roads. My advice was that Amosun could have opted to construct, repair or upgrade one road in each of the local government areas, in order to ensure that fairness, equal development and proper representation. This would help to spread government impact across all those areas, since he got votes from each of those local governments. Now, Amosun was not elected to govern only Abeokuta and Sagamu in Ogun state, was he? You have not been able to answer that question till date. You have also not been able to address any of the information provided to you as regarding taxes, in Ogun state. Now who really is the foo'l here, if not you? Let me repeat my advice to you: Go back to school. Your cluelessness is just too glaring. |

What you just stated, is what we have been saying all along, yet he has been busy dodging the real issue, trying to praise Amosun for a job that is 'partially' done, and poorly completed. Out of all the 20 local govt areas in Ogun State, a governor decides to construct infrastructure in only 5, and yet that clown is singing his praise to the high heavens. 5 out of 20 is NOT a pass mark by any standards. Or didn't Amosun receive votes from any of the other local govt areas? |

LaudableXX:hahahahahahaha you're foolishnesss is amusing to my sight I swear, which of my remarks is taunting you please, the one you made on how you stupiddly saw an assumption of your origin in my example or the fact of your stupidityy on governance which thinks every area has to be compensated because they voted for a governor the same stupidd mistake you made was what Buhari made by categorising southeast with 5% vote. What questions have you asked that hasn't been answered? Or your porous brain has nothing to over than to regurgitate your own very questions over and over again! Go back there and read, every answer you need is there but this time, be sure to call someone to help you with it comprehension I sighted Sagamu and Abeokuta as the locations I'm familiar with, and your foolish self has been masturbating all over that since yesterday, is Sagamu and Abeokuta the only places Amosun has constructed roads in Ogun state? Ehn please answer that I repeat, is Sagamu and Abeokuta the only places that construction has been done? I speak for myself and my area so speak for yours and your area, you don't have to hate the good work that has been done in my area, I'm certain a fanatic of your sort will even vandalize the ones he has done just because he hasn't done the ones in your siting room. I no you won't comprehend my next analogy but lemme just dropping for the benefit of others If you're enjoying electricity in your area and someone in the north is complaining that his area doesn't enjoy the same electricity you're enjoying, I'm very certain you'll stand up in protest and blast Fashola rather than advice your northern fellow to be patient right How was Ogun state during Oshoba and Gbenga Daniel's era, has there been any improvement? If yes then you're the most stupidd fellow on this planet with your rant. Oh and please remove the word advise from what you've been saying about Amosun,(if only you know the meaning of that word) you were not advising him, you were badmouthing in on how evil he is. So many people have confirmed it on this board. But you are too blind to see it. I repeat: "you left your brains behind on your pillow, when you decided to hit your keyboard.." Now, you can either jump into the Ogun river, if you feel so offended or go back to school to seek knowledge. Choose one. Nobody really cares.... Amosun was given a piece of advice.
