Ogun state is well poised to reap massive returns from the anti-people, anti-business policies of this administration's lunacy which it calls "revenue generation". For years, manufacturing and heavy industries have seen Ogun as the prime destination, but the capital flight will only escalate in years to come, with businesses and residents streaming over the state border to a more business-friendly environment.

Please lets not forget that Ogun State is also run by Tinubu's Puppet!!! I have noticed that Amosun is copying Lagos as well. Go to Lands in Ogun State and try to process your C of O, then you will see! I just hope Amosun will not let Tinubu exploit Ogun as he is doing in Lagos now. Omo Ogun La Wa O...Ogun State should come first, not Tinubu's pocket and his sell-out political mentality. The same Tinubu gave the Yoruba mandate of 2015 Presidency to Hausa and now they have shut him the Bleep Off.

To the extent that this proves true, it will only serve to demonstrate that federalism is working as it should, at least as far as competition between states over business-friendliness is concerned.

While we're at it, one positive but easily overlooked aspect of LASG's dependence on taxation, burdensome as it may be to Lagosians, is that it means they actually care deeply about how their hard-earned tax money is spent, which can't really be said for most of the other "federal allocation" states. Relatively heavily taxed Lagosians won't sit at home and cheer on Ambode for commissioning a borehole or a few minor roads in the middle of nowhere, as I've seen many do in other contexts on this site. I expect that these latest tax increases will spur the electorate to demand much greater transparency on LASG spending than has been forthcoming under Ambode's predecessors, and that can only be a good thing.

its not about Akwaibom building its port. Its whether
The fg will grant it the full status of a commercial port. That's the probs. There are 5 ports in the south , but they're are not general purpose ports. They're are limited to certain goods.
What is wrong with delta, ph, onne & calabar port huh
Why can't they serve general purposehuh??
The fg is very selfish and myopic. Calabar & ph port should be viable so as to decongest Lag port sad
