The National Economic Council (NEC) Team led by the Senior Technical Adviser to the Vice President, Yosola Akinbi at the Government House, Enugu on a courtesy visit.

*Commends Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his good work in Enugu State and his administration's grassroots development programmes aimed at opening up the rural areas to create more urban centres and business opportunities.

*Says they are in Enugu to "strategize" on how to advance the course of the nation's economic fortunes.

*Adds that Enugu was the preferred state for the meeting because it is secure and peaceful .

*Says it is "a great pleasure" to be in Enugu to strategize.

Truly, Enugu State is in the hands of God!

Do you know what Ugwuanyi has done for rural development which they are commending?

Have you gone to see all the rural roads in Enugu state? I have seen opi Nsukka road, obollo imilike road, 9 the mile bypass, orba bypass, Ezimo road, Enugu Obollo express, Enugu urban to mention but a few. Still he is able to pay salaries.

Please get your fact before you comment because this is one governor I commend a lot. He has maintained absolute peace in Enugu state, something no devil will take away.
